Project Coordinator

Job Summary
The Project Management function within Fios Genomics is the conduit between sales and operations. This role will join the Project Management team to ensure all projects are organised effectively in order to meet all assigned timelines and deliverables. This will include ensuring projects are assigned to analysis staff, the expected data is received and checked, and liaising with our commercial team to advise on timelines for future projects. The Project Coordinator will also assist with ad-hoc administrative duties as the Project Management team and business requires.
What the Role Will Involve
- Assign staff to projects based on availability and expertise
- Provide commercial team assistance with timelines for upcoming work to help accommodate any client requests for specific deadlines
- Assigning anonymised project codes for all projects once signed and prompted by commercial team
- Manage data receipt with clients and downloads to internal servers for analysis
- Liaise with project team members to gather status reports and monitor progress
- Manage internal Project Management software Workflow Max ensuring all projects are tracked correctly
- Track all time used on a project to ensure timelines are met and any client deadlines met
- Manage report review timelines alongside Scientific editing team
- Support weekly project scheduling meeting and update action log
- Monitor operations team compliance with timesheets
- Arrange all client calls and take note of action points where required
- Attend team meetings with operations staff for weekly updates on project tracking
Requirements for the Role
The successful candidate is required to hold a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant scientific discipline. At least 2 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical or clinical industry in a related role is required.
Ideally, the candidate would have experience in project management or leading aspects of projects under a project manager and able to demonstrate examples of this. Relevant qualifications are desirable but not required.
The candidate must be proficient in the use of Microsoft packages, have excellent customer service, attention to detail, communication and organisational skills with an aptitude for leadership and decision making.
