Annual Biomarkers Congress: Manchester 2020

We are proud to be Silver Sponsors of the 15^th Annual Biomarkers Congress, in Manchester, England on 18-20 February, 2020.

We will be joining over 400 delegates at the Manchester Central Convention Complex for two days of talks and networking opportunities spread over six different streams.

One of our Bioinformatics Team Leaders, Dr Adrian Carr, will be speaking at 2:50pm on Wednesday the 19th, in Stream 1: Biomarkers for Drug Discovery and Development: Oncology & Immunology.

Why Attend?

The conference’s streams include a wide range of topics such as cardiovascular disease and oncology, as well as the use of high throughput technologies including microarrays and next-generation sequencing (NGS). The event attracts many companies including a number of our clients whose research focuses on those areas. Data mining and data landscaping for biomarkers in a number of clinical indications has also become more commonplace – and are domains that Fios has great expertise in.

For these reasons, and for our team’s continuing professional development, we want to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in drug discovery, precision medicine, and immuno-oncology.

15^th Annual Biomarkers Congress

The conference has expanded to three days this year; 18^th February is a Pre-Event Focus Day, hosting Respiratory, Cardiovascular and Oncology Biomarkers Deep-Dive sessions. The next two days, February 19th-20th, are Days One and Two of the main conference. Altogether, there are six streams in total covering a range of biomarker-related topics.
