We are proud to be sponsors of the 4^th Annual Biomarkers & Precision Medicine in San Diego, California for another year.

On the 8-9 October 2019, we will be joining over 350 delegates at the DoubleTree by Hilton, San Diego, for two days of talks and networking opportunities spread over a number of different streams.

Our Bioinformatics Team Leader, Dr Adrian Carr, will be speaking on Day 1, Stream 1 at 1:50 pm: The Role of Biomarkers in Translational Science.

His talk will cover:

•   Precision medicine as a core part of clinical research and practise. Tailoring treatment to a patient based on their biomarkers, such as SNPs, DNA methylation or blood proteins.
•   Vast amounts of ‘omics data are being generated, which provides computational challenges to analyse and interpret the data. Careful planning and use of appropriate bioinformatics tools and methodologies are key to identifying relevant biological signals.

This year’s conference is 10% larger than last year with over 40 sessions. The revamped programme for 2019 will give vital updates on new biomarker initiatives and data across translational science, precision medicine and clinical development.

Co-located with the 2nd Annual Advances in Immuno-Oncology USA Congress, there are also a further 40 talks on the latest immuno-oncology therapeutic strategies in discovery, preclinical and clinical research. It provides a vital opportunity to drill deeper into this fast-growing therapeutic area.
